Team members at Ruby Falls often log over 10,000 steps each day while working in the park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cStaying active is one of the most powerful ways to protect your heart, and even small increases in daily movement can significantly lower your risk of cardiovascular disease,\u201d says Bennett Smith, Executive Director of the American Heart Association. \u201cThat\u2019s why we\u2019re grateful for partners like Ruby Falls who help lead initiatives like 100 Million Steps in March, bringing our community together to build a healthier Chattanooga.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Guests sign the large \u201c100 Million Steps in March\u201d banner to show their participation in the challenge and take home participant buttons, while supplies last, as a reminder that incorporating walking into the day is enjoyable and can be done almost anywhere.
